Apprentice Chefs / Cooks required for busy pub

Our client is a well established pub retailer with a track record in providing real support and amazing career development opportunities for committed staff who show potential, the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

We are looking for 2 chefs/cooks to work in this busy pub kitchen. You will work in a busy environment preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard. Applicants must be flexible and able to work as part of a successful team. Both positions are full time 40 to 50 hours per week with plenty of opportunity to increase. 

The right candidate will have excellent cooking skills plus bags of enthusiasm and drive and the ability to work well as part of a team.

This is a full-time permanent job and you will be able to work towards achieving an Apprenticeship NVQ Level 2 in either Food Production or Professional Cookery.

£120 - £250.00 per week during training, rising to £280  - £350 per week after training
