What is Team London?
About Team London
Team London is the Mayor’s action plan for volunteering, a bridge between London’s greatest needs and the volunteers that help to make London a better place to live. Team London will make the best of these efforts and ensure that individuals and the public, private and voluntary organisations work more effectively together.
Team London Priorities
The first phase of Team London will be giving over £4.5m in funding, including £2m generously donated by the Reuben Foundation to six key programmes targeting London’s three priority areas:
In addition, the Team London Small Grants Fund opened to applications from smaller organisations on 15 July. Grants of up to £10,000 are available to organisations running volunteering projects in our three priority areas.
Team London Service Plan
Team London aims to make volunteering easier to do and easier to find out about. We want to build on the work already being done by thousands of Londoners with a focus on ‘impact volunteering’ – volunteering strategies that target our most pressing community needs with measurable impact.
